About SolarWorks! Energy

SolarWorks Energy is offering a broad range of solar and back up solutions in Malawi & Mozambique to small & medium sized enterprises (SMEs), households, schools and health clinics. We have the ambition to improve lives of people in Southern Africa, through the economic development of the local communities, creating jobs and generating income, by providing sustainable energy to local businesses & households.

History

Since 2008, the SolarWorks Energy team has built a strong foundation in solar energy solutions, initially through the production of solar lanterns and home systems with Pay-as-You-Go options. To date, they have sold over 100,000 solar lanterns and 100,000 solar home systems, impacting close to a million lives in Southern Africa. Responding to market needs, they now focus on larger solar systems for homes, businesses, and public institutions, having electrified more than 150 health clinics, supported over 200 farmers with irrigation, and equipped dozens of SMEs in Malawi and Mozambique with reliable clean energy.
